ТУК Ви катеря едно Аниме, което по скромното ми мнение си струва да погледнете.

Revolutionary Girl Utena - 39 епизода DVD Rip.

A long time ago, a little girl's parents died leaving her alone in the world until a Prince came. His dashing manner impressed the little girl greatly and he gave her a ring to keep and to lead her to him later... As it turns out this girl was so impressed by the Prince she decided to become a prince herself. Utena goes to Ohtori Academy where she dresses in a boy's uniform because she wants to be a 'prince'. Her mysterious ring leads her to the student council, 'End of the World', 'Revolution' and their duels for the 'Rose Bride'. As you can see it is not your standard fairy tale =)
Review: What a beautiful, beautiful series. One of my all-time favorites.

Utena is...unique. No other word to describe it. Well, maybe incredible. And beautiful. Ikuhara's ideas are amazing; Utena has loads of everything you could ever dream of. Fabulous action scenes, friendship, love, sex, everything. Even some girl/girl and guy/guy relationships.

Art: I LOVE the character designs. Aside from the fact that everywhere you like, it's gorgeous, yummy eyecandy, designs are really original. The style of the art is so much fun to look at. I don't think this gets mentioned a lot in anime reviews, but the backgrounds and settings of Utena are fantastic. Practically out of a fairy tale, only better.

Characters: Not a single character is left flat. Everyone has so many facets. Every character is perfectly realistic, has revelations, and becomes dear to your heart. Most characters had bitter experiences in their past, involving friends, death, love, family, and rivalry--it differs from character to character. Their desperation and loneliness shows through at just the right times. Even a character whom I hated provoked both my sympathy and my tears (a LOT of tears). The empathy in Utena is simply mind-blowing.

The music in Utena is as original as the series itself. BGM and eye-catch tend to be more classical, while the duel/action music is something you will never hear in any other anime. J.A. Seazer combines haunting melodies with deep, symbolic lyrics. However, these are the type of song that you either hate or love. They're very different, but I love them because of it. It's a very refreshing and interesting change of pace for anime (especially the shoujo genre).

The most notably great aspect of the Utena TV series is the symbolism. I really like literature and analyzing it, so I had a blast with this series. There are many allusions, especially in the songs. The viewers don't have to have bookloads of knowledge handy to fully enjoy and understand what's going on, but if you know a bit about mythology, you can appreciate Ikuhara's genius a little more. The whole series is put together so flawlessly, the ending is almost humbling to watch. It's fascinating and spellbinding.

Which brings me to the ONLY bad point of the series--the ending. A tad too anticlimactic for my tastes. But the more you watch it, the more you understand it, the more you love it.

However, this is quite a controversial series, so it's not for everyone. It starts out to be a charming story about an innocent schoolgirl who wants to save her noble spirit so she can meet her prince someday, but it quickly grows dark. The biggest controversy lies in the sexual politices of the series. The school the protagonist attends--Ohtori Academy--is briefly compared to the city of Sodom in almost every episode (if anyone's sharp on their Biblical history, they should understand just what I mean; the reference is in the pre-duel chorus). The situation at the school is basically this: Everyone has sex with everyone else. You don't see it, but it's quite clear. Everyone is very...touchy-feely-gropey. And remember--these are kids between the ages of 14 and 17 (with the exception of the one adult--Akio, but he DOES get busy). Furthermore, many of the relationships are homosexual in nature, and that has always been iffy business.

However, those topics are never addressed in typical entertainment. The Utena series does a great job of exposing its audience, especially regarding the homosexual relationships. In Utena, it's not just presented, it's analyzed and explained. Something that a lot of people need to see.

Overall? This series is a fabulous epic, hands down. See it!
